Final prerelease list! Top Fictional Teambuilder teams to create/look for

So last week I did a Teambuilder list of real lower division teams. This week it is time to go into the land of fiction and mention teams from television and film that we might want to create in Teambuilder. Feel free to add any that I don't include.

This is my last list since the game will be playable to a lot of us today and the rest by the end of the week. I'm going with 12 in case you want a total fictional conference too!

12. California University Condors (Beverly Hills, 90210) - I never really watched this show but know how popular it was in the day I thought I'd include it. (Plus getting 12 that were college teams is hard. LOL)

11. Western University Dolphins (Blue Chips) - While the movie focuses on basketball, I'm sure they had a football team too!

10. Texas Colts Necessary Roughness) - Rivals for a team further down the list. Could definitely be a must if you want to create TSU.

9. Springfield A&M Pigs (The Simpsons) - A Simpsons team with a Pig mascot. Yeah. That could be fun.

8. Springfield University Nittany Tide (The Simpsons) - Can't have one without their rival, right? Simpsons themed teams could be fun.

7.University of Los Angeles Peacocks (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) - I don't remember much about them but I know they were featured on the show once or twice. Could be another created fictional team that some would have fun with. Make Will and Carlton a part of the team for more fun.

6. Adams College Atoms (Revenge of the Nerds) - Lower on the list but some may want to create this team and its star quarterback Stan Gable run a dynasty with them.

5. Blue Mountain State Mountain Goats (Blue Mountain State) - TV show was never a huge hit but had some funny moments. Could be another dynasty created team.

4. Eastern State University Timberwolves (The Program) - A fun 90s movie with some fun characters. Could be fun to build and run a dynasty with. Plus the games were shot at South Carolina's stadium so your home field is already in the game.

3. South Central Louisiana State Muddogs (The Waterboy) - Of course you'll want to create Bobby Boucher and his cast of characters and see if you too can win the Bourbon Bowl!

2. Texas State Figntin' Armadillos (Necessary Roughness) - A fun comedy that has a cast of characters fans of the movie might want to create and have a dynasty run with.

1. Minnesota State Screaming Eagles (Coach) - This one has been mentioned a lot by folks in the forums so it takes the top spot for me. Definitely one I could see myself creating as well.

A couple I've come up with just because:

Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters: The X-Men
- Never been official, but could you imagine the uniforms?

Starfleet Academy: The Cetaceans
- Again, never officially stated, and their mascots are whales after STIV

Greendale Community College: The Human Beings
- I heard they somehow snagged former 5* QB recruit Troy Barnes!!!

City College (?)
- Rivals to Greendale
- No name ever mentioned: Citizens? Kaiju?

University of California Sunnydale: Slayers, Razerbacks (Buffy)
- AGain, never official
- Their Highschool had the Razerback as a mascot

San Dimas University: Wild Stallyns
- Bill and Ted

Dillon Panthers
- Friday Night Lights

Arlene Longhorns
- King of the Hill

West Canaan Coyotes
- Varsity Blues

These last 3 were all High Schools in Texas, so you can make them rivals I guess!

Awesome! Now I gave you a reason to create them! I'll be watching to see if anyone creates this fictional conference. It was fun researching teams to fill out the list. I had a few I saw I decided against or just didn't know enough about the movie or show.

They did! There's a scene where Happy the millionaire donor (played by JT Walsh) tells Coach Bell (Nick Nolte) that they buy football athletes. Here is the scene, skip to 1:30 mark for the football team reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeZaqlO-woE

I can't believe I forgot about Greendale! That one with QB Troy Barnes should be on my list!

I left High Schools off mine for a reason. But if you want include Friday Night Lights you could go with Texas Methodist University. Coach Taylor went there for a brief stint on the show.

I love your first two as well. Love the creative spirit here!
