Re: Difficultly

I dont know. I'll probably start in the middle and work from there. I wish there was a defensive dificulty level and an offensive difficulty level, and a dynamic level. The old NCAAf series, I was Heisman but this aint your fathers NCAAf.

Re: Difficultly

Heisman and cross my fingers the adaptive AI finally makes an EA football game challenging from a strategic standpoint.

One thing killing Madden in recent years is how simple the CPU is. It doesn't adjust to your play calling tendencies. It's clock management skills are nonexistent. It's playcalling logic is quite literally broken.

I've long believed that when playing on Heisman or All Madden it should feel like the equivalent of playing a grand master in chess. I should feel like a real coaching staff is on the other sideline making all the moves.

Hopefully adaptive AI gets us a lot closer to feeling that way in CFB25.

Re: Difficultly

First game will be on Freshman to ensure a rivalry game win.

Every game after the first 1 or 2 will be on All-American most likely. I'll only move up to Heisman if I find myself consistently winning upset games in Play Now.

Re: Difficultly

Thinking about switching between two. Going with All American during normal games and then when facing top 25 opponents will bump it up to Heisman.

Re: Difficultly

If it's the same difficulty scaling as Madden and old NCAAs, then All American with custom sliders. Never liked Heisman or All Madden, as it artificially increased the difficulty by nerfing user players instead of making the CPU better at tackling, play rec, coverage, catching, juking, passing, etcetera. I realize it technically is increasing the difficulty by making user players fumble and drop passes more, but if I draft/recruit/sign a player specifically because he has 90+ carrying or 94+ catching or CIT, then I don't want those guys to be fumbling the ball and dropping passes twice every game or even more often in some cases.
