My understanding is there are 3 archetypes. Development, recruiting and scheme. They appear to accumulate xp based upon different criteria/accomplishments.

What I'm not clear about is what the xp is spent on. Are there entirely different trees for each archetype or is there overlap? Are the archetypes only a way to accumulate xp?

There are perks within each Archetype that you buy with the XP you earn. You can also upgrade the Archetype. The example they gave was with the recruiter archetype. You have to buy so many perks within the archetype plus have two top 5 recruiting classes before unlocking that archetype. Once you unlock it you can buy perks in that archetype now. There are 11 total and the 3 base perks I think can be unlocked at anytime without some kind of goal (I am assuming you use XP to unlock perks but don't remember specifically). I believe that is the gist of it.

Thanks. So there are some upgrades within the archetype and others across all archetypes? I wonder if we can view these archetype flow charts/perks before we make a decision as to which one we want.

I heard a max of 50 points. I did see a coach in the carousel that had 51 going to NFL or retiring though so not sure. Anyone know?

I wonder how many skill tree levels there are? if all are filled/bought is there like 200 of them?

The coach skill trees were brilliant in 14. This looks like it’s 10 times that depth. Excellent

Motivator, skewed towards developing the OL would be my guess. Or take it a completely different way.

They talked about certain recruits being drawn towards more academic schools I wonder what type gets drawn to service academies?

Ok, thanks I misunderstood there to be three archetypes but maybe theres four, possibly more. Motivator does sound like a better fit at Army.

In theory the coach skill trees were brilliant in 14. The only problem is the tuning was terrible for them. I hope that this is tuned much better than 14 was. I mean it should be. It's been 11 years
