Let's Discuss Real Motorsport Here

I can see threads on some other sports in this forum to discuss the actual sport rather than the games but I couldn't find any thread to discuss the motorsports. This is why I am making this thread to discuss everything happening in the world of motorsports, from F1 to Nascar and from MotoGP to Indycar, let's discuss them here.

Re: Let's Discuss Real Motorsport Here

Did anyone watch the Austrian GP today and what happened between Max and Lando? Who do you think was responsible for that crash?

I think Max was definitely responsible but I also think Lando got impatient and could’ve made the move on a safer part of the track, like a straight. Definitely Max’s fault though, I don’t see anyone really debating that.

Except for Verstappen fans, of course lol

It is nice to see McLaren showing some fight as early on in the season, it looked like Max was going to run away with every race.

Re: Let's Discuss Real Motorsport Here

Max was at fault, but they were both driving like ***holes for the majority of the race, it was only inevitable it would happen sooner or later. Very interested to see what happens in Silverstone and if they’ll be just as aggressive.

Regardless, it looks like we’re finally getting some good competition heating up and I’m excited for the rest of the season. Hopefully Charles and Ferrari can figure out their problems, although that’s probably just wishful thinking on my part

It will be interesting how they both go against each other at Silverstone this weekend. I am sure there is a some drama on the track during the race and we may see another great battle between these two at the front.

British GP always offer a lot more than the thrilling race action, there will be many music performances happening during the weekend along with drivers personnel appearances, meetups etc. This is a good guide to know what's happening in and around the Silverstone Circuit this weekend.

FIA and Formula 1 have announced the 2025 sprint calendar. Are you happy with this schedule?

I’d prefer none, but I think the selection is fine. Not sure the thought behind replacing Austria with Spa again, but I don’t think either track really suits the sprint format so whatever
