How Many Customizable Conferences Are in the Game in Total, Including Dead or Alive? Which Conferences are there?

Matt Brown reported in his Extra Points newsletter that all the major FBS conferences were included in dynasty and all were customizable. He noted there was no ability to add or remove conferences. So we're likely stuck with the eleven which exist in real life: the American, ACC, B1G, Big XII, Conference USA, Independents, MAC, Mountain West, Pac-12, SEC, and Sun Belt.

That sucks but would be enough for what I planned on doing. I was just going to restore the P5 including the Pac 12 and then make some minor adjustments to keep regional cohesion. Would have been nice to bring back the Big East for example but I can live with this.

Weird. Wonder why people were saying we could recreate the Big East. I guess maybe they meant teams only, but at least one person I listened to said we could CREATE conferences. I trust Matt Brown more than them, whoever it was, so it doesn't matter. But that kinda sucks lol. Oh well.

It's unfortunate that there will be only the 10 + Independents, but I'm okay with that. For my Dynasty I plan on controlling 3 teams per conference + 2 Independents.



I'm thinking of putting Army, Navy, and Air Force all in the AAC. I wonder if CFB25 will follow the bizarre rules that make Army-Navy a non-conference game. Then, if I put Air Force in there, it becomes even murkier! I'm going to push this game's limits.

Agree, that does stink. I was hoping to completely get rid of the PAC. Don't need it, don't want it. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do with Oregon State and Washington State but I do know I want to either let another conference absorb them, or make them independent.

I would put them in the Mountain West. I still think that makes the most sense for them IMO. They join the Mountain West and if they want the Pac name so much maybe they could convince the Mountain West to change their name? Shrug.
