Has the game become too easy?

I’ve been playing this game since its inception and honestly have never been very good but have always kept a high difficulty level (HOF hitting/Legend pitching) in case I somehow improve😅. Anyways this year I am playing Legend hitting/Legend pitching). I just shut out the rangers twice with the cubs and have never done that before. I still struggle hitting at Legend but HOF has become too easy. I’m concerned about how easy pitching has become and cpu hitters cannot seem to hit. I use meter pitching and prefer that. Any ideas which sliders I should bump up? Thanks

How about trying classic pitching? Meter pitching, like every other timing based input, is (too) easy, once you get the timing down and the stats of pitchers hardly matter. And turning off all visual aids goes without saying.

It’s two games. I’d recommend continuing to play and get through several more games before tinkering with sliders or game mechanics

Game is incredibly easy against the CPU even on legend. I’ve pretty much abandoned offline play and stick exclusively to diamond dynasty now.

Game went from stagnant and boring to incredibly fun for me just playing DD only. Got tired of waxing the CPU every single game with barely a challenge

That's why I play on DD since pitching can go up to legend+

I wish it would also make PP pitching harder as you get to L+

The game settings have changed over the past couple years. I've had to make some adjustments in the past two releases to get the game tweaked just right. So for me, the game isn't easy when I found the new settings that fit what I was looking for.

Try out slider set from Bryan and I on the slider forum. It's HOF pitching level, but the cpu offense is good. I beat Pirates 8-1, then they beat me 7-6. They scored in 4 different innings on 14 hits so they don't only score all their runs in one inning either.

I wouldn't give up yet. They fixed the broken strikeout issue from last year, so with a few slider adjustments you can get a really solid challenge vs the cpu. We do use classic pitching, and I do recommend it. However, I think you can use meter with the slider set. May have to drop your pitching control and/or consistency lower than we have it if you are really good at hitting your mark on the meter.
