MATHEMATICAL SLIDERS V6


UPDATES 6-30-24
ALL NEW SLIDER SET, I EXPANDED MY CPU SACK TIMINGS TO THE SP TEAMS. NOW ALL THAT IS MATHEMATICAL IS INJURIES, FATIGUE, SPEED AND PENALTY VALUES. WHILE VERSION 5 DID PLAY WELL ON THE DEFENSE SIDE. I WANTED TO INCREASE THE CPU OFFENSE SIDE AND I DID JUST THAT. THE CPU MAY OR MAY NOT SCORE MORE BUT THEY WILL GET MORE YARDS BETWEEN RUNNING AND PASSING THE BALL WHILE AT THE SAME TIME BEING BETTER AT SWITCHING BACK AND FORTH THROUGH OUT THE GAME ON BEING ABLE TO SHUT DOWN THE PLAYER RUN AND PASSING GAME A LOT BETTER NOW.

ALTERNATIVE VALUES
FOR A BETTER CPU SCORING OFFENSE INPUT THE VALUES BELOW. WARNING THE CPU PASSING WILL BE MUCH MORE DIFFICULT TO STOP NOW BUT THEY SHOULD SCORE EASIER. ONLY USE THE VALUES BELOW IF THE CPU IS NOT SCORING ENOUGH AGAINST YOU ON AVG. THIS MAY ALSO OPEN THE PLAYER OFFENSE UP A LITTLE MORE TOO. TECHNICALLY THE VALUES BELOW ARE A LITTLE FAST AND OVERPOWERED WHICH IS WHY YOU SHOULD ONLY USE THESE IF YOU ARE SHUTTING THE CPU OUT TOO MUCH ON AVG OR JUST NEED AN EXTRA CHALLENGE.

ALTERNATIVE PLAY NOW: INJURIES 14 FATIGUE 50 PLAYER SPEED 90 ROUGHING THE PASSER 25 ALL OTHERS 65 AND ON
ALTERNATIVE FRANCHISE: INJURIES 14 FATIGUE 50 PLAYER SPEED 90 ROUGHING THE PASSER 50 ALL OTHERS 70 AND ON

ABOUT MY SLIDERS

I DON’T FOCUS ON MOVING A SLIDER UP AND DOWN FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF MAKING RUNNING OR PASSING OR WHATEVER EASIER OR HARDER. THAT JUST IS NOT MY STYLE. INSTEAD, WHAT I DO IS FOCUS ON CPU SACK TIMINGS. IT IS NOT ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL NUMBERS BUT THE NUMBER SEQUENCE. WITH THE RIGHT SEQUENCE OF NUMBERS THIS ALONE WILL DETERMINE HOW EASY OR HARD THE GAME PLAY IS. WHEN THAT IS COMPLETE, I SET THE OTHER SLIDERS LIKE INJURIES, FATIGUE, PLAYER SPEED AND PENALTY VALUES TO COMPLIMENT THE GAMES OFFENSE, DEFENSE AND SP TEAM SLIDERS THAT WILL KEEP THE GAME PLAY AGGRESSIVE JUST NOT AT THE EXTREME OF KEEPING THE CPU FROM GETTING THEIR SHARE OF THE YARDS RATHER THE GAME IS A DEFENSIVE BATTLE OR A BLOW OUT. FEEDBACK IS WELCOMED.

TIPS

YOU CAN PLAY THE GAME HOWEVER YOU WANT BUT IF YOU FOLLOW MY ADVICE BELOW YOU WILL HAVE BETTER AND MORE DYNAMIC GAMES.
  • PUT SKILL POINTS ON FAST AND ONLY UPDATE YOUR STAFF 1 TIME A YEAR STARTING THE FIRST WEEK OF EACH SEASON THEN DON’T UPDATE AGAIN UNTIL WEEK 1 OF THE FOLLOWING SEASON. THIS HELPS KEEP YOUR GROWTH MORE EVEN WITH THE CPU AND FOR PUTTING THE POINTS ON FAST. THE CPU NEEDS THOSE POINTS FAST TO GIVE YOU BETTER GAME PLAY OTHERWISE IT WILL TAKE LONGER FOR THEM TO START PLAYING BETTER AGAINST YOU, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A GOOD TEAM. CPU NEEDS ALL THE HELP THEY CAN GET IN THIS DEPARTMENT.
  • ONLY OPEN UP WEEKLY STRATEGIES 1 TIME AND INPUT YOUR HEALTH REPS FOR BOTH DEFENSE AND OFFENSE THEN BACK OUT AND NEVER OPEN IT AGAIN. JUST SIMULATE THE PRACTICE EVERY TIME YOU PLAY YOUR NEXT GAME. FOR 1 THIS HELPS THE CPU TO PLAY BETTER AGAINST YOU AND 2 YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO COMPLETE YOUR GOALS EVERY WEEK KEEPING YOU AND THE CPU ON A MORE EVEN LEVEL WHEN IT COMES TO GETTING SKILL POINTS.
  • ON BOTH OFFENSE AND DEFENSE PICK THE COACH SUGGESTION 100% OF THE TIME NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION IS. THIS WILL ALLOW YOUR GAMES TO BE MORE DYNAMIC AND NOT CHEESE THE CPU. THIS WILL KEEP YOU FROM WINNING ALL OF YOUR GAMES. ALSO, IF YOU HAVE A BAD TEAM, YOU WILL LOSE MORE OR IF YOU HAVE A GOOD TEAM, YOU WILL WIN MORE.

I am rebuilding the Arizona Cardinals from the ground up with a 100% Rookie Team. I moved them to Houston Texas to become the Houston Oilers. They are all ready off to a bad start. 0-2



Since I reverted back to V1 I will start releasing more V1 Game Play videos between 1-2 days from now.

had to update my S-XF sliders accidentally put the wrong numbers.

here is the update along with the calculations I used to get there


53 MAN ROSTER =1,696 25% =424 (RND TO NEAREST 10)
420/3 =140
140/2 =70 (TO HIGH FOR NUMBER OF X FACTOR PLAYERS)
70/2 =35 (X FACTORS)

420-35 =385 (RND TO NEAREST 10)
390/3 =130
130/2 =65 (Superstars)

65+35 =100
420-100 =320 (Stars)
320+65+35 =420 (# OF S-XF PLAYERS EACH YEAR. THIS WILL FLUCTUATE SOME )
420/32 =13.125 (AVG S-XF PLAYERS PER TEAM EACH YEAR)

13.125 means the majority of the teams will have 13+S-XF Players on the team at the beginning on week 1 the following season. Some teams will have less.

X FACTORS 35
SUPERSTARS 65
STARS 320

(The reason for Rounding to the nearest 10. Is because Superstar only goes in increments of 5 and Star goes in increments of 10. In order for the math to add up I had to Round to nearest 10)

not for m24. Maybe for the NCAA and M25 I will make a highest difficulty one.

I updated the 2nd post with stats and my first 2 weeks of game play. boy was those games a disaster lol. I am glade though I was able to show the CPU being good enough to make it tough on the Player when you have a Low OVR Team. what is even better is I was having troubles with what I would call Avg playing Teams. WAS and the Giants.


I am working on a Alternative Version that will have the Speed over 50. If I can find the right pattern I will release it. If not then I will just keep Speed @32.

I just uploaded a new version of my sliders. I now offer 2 different speeds for franchise mode. 32 good for low rated teams and 68 better for high rated teams. the CPU can Run and Pass better on both speeds compared to the 32 speed I have in version 1.

If you liked V1 Speed then just Keep this Injuries 10 Fatigue 52 Speed 32.

I also updated Post 2. I erased the stats and game play video from V1 since i feel like the CPU is now improved and the v1 game play does not represent what you will see on V2. I will be adding updated stats and game play video for V2 within the next day or 2 maybe tonight if I have the time.

I reverted back to V1 Speed Injury 10 Fatigue 52 Speed 32. I just like the overall feel of this one.

Version 2 Injury 10 Fatigue 50 Speed 32
This to had a good feel the problem was I felt my DL was to weak against the CPU OL and the CPU did not feel as threatening when it comes to sacking my QB.

Version 2 Injury 10 Fatigue 51 Speed 68
This just felt way to fast. I was just trying to give something that was over a 50 speed and I feel like I have failed on this one.

Version 1.0 Injuries 10 Fatigue 52 Speed 68
I like the feel of this one the best. The CPU is more threatening towards the player QB and things don't feel rushed and my DL is not to weak against the CPU and I get more penalties with this one.

I am pretty sure I will continue playing around with the speeds. If you don't like any of the speeds then feel free to play around with it.

This is my last slider update for M24. If I do start fancying another speed I will post it. If not then my future updates will be about my franchise
