I'm starting a custom franchise, but don't want any league history - I'm guessing it's not possible to reset NHL stats (records, etc)?

I can reset all team stats by using NHL teams' Alumni versions, as opposed to their NHL version, but the league stats appear to not be resettable?

dont think so.
Id actually buy the game if you could do that and start with all fictional players.
Thats why Im hoping there will be a hockey version of a super mega baseball type of game.
