CFB 25 Generic Plus Face Comparisons

The Generic Plus technology that EA created to get player faces into the game really interests me. It's the type of tech that some of you all probably saw me mention multiple times throughout the last few years as something I hoped EA would explore for this game.

For those unaware of what the tech is, it basically allows EA to take a single reference photo, like the head shot of a player on the team's official roster page, and generate a face in game based off that 1 picture. After that, EA has their artists go in and touch up the model and modify it however they see fit to get the player looking more like their real selves.

Instead of having a library of 120 pre-made generic faces that all 10,000+ players share, or, instead of having the artists painstakingly try and create each players' face one at a time, this tech allows them to have a lot of the work be automated saving them significant amounts of time while still allowing for players to have unique faces that look like their own.

Hopefully we get a blog at some point before release going into the process a little more and we get some higher quality comparisons as well as an idea on whether or not they used this tech on every single player in the game, but for now, I wanted to create a thread where we could look at each player shown in the trailer and compare their face in game with their real face.

To start things off, the first shot where we get clear looks of player faces is the Penn State entrance scene. In all pictures, I will be posting the player faces in the order they appear in the screenshots from left to right. For all duplicate numbers, I will be posting both players that wear that number and we as the community can decide who is depicted in the trailer if it isn't obvious at first glance.
