Older Pitcher Repertoires

I'm working on a Legends roster for MLB the show 24 and I want to figure out a way to know for sure the pitching repertoire of older pitchers, pre-pitchFX. I usually have to watch videos of them pitch or hope its somewhere on their Wikipedia page. Anyone have any good resources? Also, feel free to check on my In-Progress Roster in the vault (gamertag:maddennfl629). I've got 9 Starters, 5-man rotation, and 2 closers for all 30 teams, then I've done a deeper dive for all the AL Teams, and I'm working through the NL now. Any feedback would be appreciated!

The Neyer/James book is considered an excellent resource. Not sure if they have an online only version...

Sometimes I'll Google the pitcher's name with the word "fastball" or "curve ball". Sometimes you get lucky that way.

Re: Older Pitcher Repertoires

Pickup an older version of OOTP baseball and they have a fairly accurate representation of pitch repertoires for all historical pitchers ........... plus they also rate each of those pitch types for each pitcher ....... may not be 100% accurate but very good in many of our opinions as many of us use it to assign pitch types and rate each for historical rosters.
