PS5 vs Xbox Series S

Is MLB The Show the same game play-wise? PS5 is much more powerful than an Xbox Series S. I can tell a huge difference in Madden. Just about everything in Madden is different in the Xbox Series S platform.

I don't know because I had MLB The Show 23 on Xbox Series S. Haven't played it on PS5.

I own both systems and have played The Show on both and I found the FPS to be much better on the PS5!

It’s the pretty much the same between PS5 and XBX. XBS plays the same, doesn’t look as nice though just because it’s slightly scaled down from XBX. Both much visually better than XB1 or XB1X or PS4. That’s really the only difference since the frame rate on current gen is smooth and last gen is choppy.

Also any gameplay difference you see in Madden is just visually. The gameplay is exactly the same. Series S still looks pretty good but scaled down since it’s not true 4K. PS5 and XBX are the even playing consoles with XBS slightly behind both.
