Something I noticed on the FAQ page on theshow.com regarding Sounds of the Show

The past few installments of the Show have had the question listed on its FAQ page on theshow.com website of whether Sounds of the Show would be included in the most recent version. Each of the past few years it was stated that SOTS was only available on the PS4.

Well...I noticed today that that very question isn't listed on the FAQ page of '24. Could it be possible, and I hate getting hopes up, that the feature that wasn't in the Operating System of the PS5 that was utilized for SOTS to work, has finally been added back in during a software update?

For those who may be unaware, Steve at SDS (who has since retired) mentioned in a thread here on OS, that the reason was SOTS wasn't available on the PS5 was due to a feature that was utilized to make it work wasn't available on the PS5 operating system.

And I know the question will be brought up, because I had the same one, Steve also let us know that the reason why the PS4 version of the game can use SOTS of the PS5 console, was due to the fact that PS4 games and PS5 games utilize different operating systems within the PS5 console.

I mean, unless they added the capability to put music on the PS5 (which they could have done, perhaps in an update like you said) I don't see it.

IF they did, I'm about to take a lot of time to do every single cue available lol.

That would be such a welcome (re)-addition. SOTS with this gameplay would be incredible

This would be nice to know…I’ve always bought the PS4 and Ps5 version so I can have SOTS for home games…it could also mean SOTS is gone completely…either way is it to much to ask from a company to have a little transparency on a few things

This would be a game changer for me. I’ve given serious thought to getting the PS4 version this year as sounds of the show just adds so much immersion, especially in franchise.

Best of both worlds for me. I preordered the PS5 disc version that also has the digital download for PS4. Until its confirmed one way or the other, I'm working with the assumption SotS will be in the PS4 version.
