Re: Introduce yourself:

I will be 65 later this month.
I have worked in construction most of my life from residential to commercial.
I live in the country and used to have cattle but health issues have put an end to that.
I’m retired now thanks to those health issues.
I have been married to the same woman for 40 years. We have 3 kids, 9 grandkids.
I played baseball until I turned 40 in the Fort Worth leagues.

Born and raised in NYC. Retired from the FDNY due to toxic exposure over many months of working every day there at ground zero.

That said die hard Ya Jew fan, Jets fan, Knicks fan. I was once upon a time a competitive madden player, traveled around to all different cities to compete h2h verses the best players in the world. Fun times.

Little additional back story, after witnessing my parents deaths in a mugging gone wrong, I now use my vastly considerable resources to keep vigil and protect the city by any means necessary. I would volunteer more information here, but then I would have to hunt down each and every one of you and eliminate the problem.

Re: Introduce yourself:

I'm a high school English teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area.

While I do enjoy other sports (namely football, and, to lesser extents, hockey and soccer), baseball has always been my first love. I played from when I was 5 until I was 13, and have been to hundreds of live games in my life. Between the Giants, the A's, and the Minor League/Independent teams in Northern California, I usually go to between 20 and 25 baseball games each season.

The first baseball video games I can remember playing were All-Star Baseball 2004 and MVP Baseball 2004 for the PS2 (that should give you a general idea of my age).

As far as The Show, specifically, is concerned, I was actually an Xbox-only person for an extended period of time. I finally picked up a PS4 in 2017 and have been plugged into the series' discourse ever since. I still remember JerseyBorn's excellent A's franchise series on YouTube for MLB 16 being one of my biggest motivating factors for finally picking up a PS4.
