4k Monitor

Just switched to a MSI 4k UHD 120hz monitor for the Xbox Series X. Does anyone else have a white glow around the pitchers/batters?…

I didn’t notice it on my previous monitor at 1080p at 120hz. But i definitely see it at 4k. Is this a setting issue or a Show issue?

I often see it. I have a TV however. It’s not always there which is even more odd.

I see it in very bright hdr scenes especially (Pitcher on the mound, OF's) around the players jersey/body. I see it on multiple LG OLED's of mine, it's some kind of HDR hiccup it looks like.

I thought it was a bloom postprocessing effect set too strong in their game engine.

Is there anything we can do on our end to resolve it or do we think it’s on the games end itself?

I think if you turn off HDR in the options it goes away.

The HDR in the game itself it terrible. Washes out everything. So i had already turned that off. But the glow is still there for me.

It's gotta be an over done bloom effect then. I know exactly what you're seeing. I saw it too on my brother's TV. It was actually pretty distracting at times.
