Why trade logic and AI logic cannot improve under this engine

Quite simply because of the ratings. The AI only has a certain amount of ratings to make an evaluation. MLB the most statistic based sport ? has the least amount of player ratings of the 4 sports in video games . OOTP 25 actually expanded their ratings this year ? Why ? to make it more realistic because it gives the AI a better view to evaluate players and situations. Btw OOTP has a card mode and still actually improves the other modes including graphically...with just one 3D graphics guy on the team...but I digress

I want to see splits attributes for pitchers vs left and right h9 hr9 bb9 k9. Then batters need split also for discipline and vision.

You can add in why players progress in a bad way. Hit a certain age and fall off the ledge

I am just tired of 1-2 bullpen pitchers on every CPU team getting 100 innings and having a horrible ERA because of it, while others pitchers are scarcely used. Bullpen logic is a HUGE issue in a franchise.

It is also an issue in played games even in Play Now. There is an inherent issue with the logic that they've failed to improve over the years. Either the issue is not a priority to them or they don't know how to fix it. Either way, it is disappointing that in this day and age sports games are tagged with the issues they have.

This is very very similar to the play calling issue Madden has right now where the CPU teams are passing the ball at rates unseen in real life no matter what you do. The issue with The Show is that this bullpen logic issue has been around for a very long time now.

The game plays out amazingly on a pitch by pitch basis, don't get me wrong, but when the bullpen logic leads to the game not looking like anything I see in real life with regards to the managerial decision making, it hurts the experience far too much.

OOTP had deep franchise but micro league baseball graphics. MLBTS has amazing graphics but franchise mode is lacking in depth and gameplay on the field has issues that haven't been fixed for years.

I play the Show because it is the best combination of both but I have no intention of buying a new version and will continue to play MLBTS23 because I don't believe they are making enough improvements to franchise to warrant starting from day 1 with a new franchise. Lack of y2y is a breaker for me.

You can still play without the 3D...just like classic OOTP.
