Really Hope MLB Network Theme Returns in '24

The presentation in '23 is absolutely amazing in my opinion. The two separate themes for National and Regional Broadcast are done well in that it actually feels like two different presentations versus just a change to score overlay and ticker.

While the name database is catching up due to the change in announcers, the overall presentation is light years ahead of where it was back in '21 with the old annoucing crew. Boog brings some excitement in the PBP delivery that we barely got with Matty V.

With that said, I'm hoping beyond hope that they bring back the MLB Network Theme as a 3rd presentation style, something we haven't seen in a few years. Would love to have a National like ESPN/Fox style presentation, local/regional presentation (Show Midwest) and then a MLB Network style presenation with possibly the Friday Night Showcase style presentation.

I was thinking they could break it down as:

National Broadcast (Saturday/Sunday games ala Fox/TBS/ESPN)
MLB Network (Friday Night Showcase with additional telecasts sprinkled thru the week)
Regional Broadcast (All your games not on the other two themes)

I absolutely love that idea. In franchise even if you start kinda like in MVP 2005 and you start making money the more money you can get better players and win a lot more. Then you can get that national broadcast alot more often, even have radio, ads ect I think your team winning or making playoffs it should be rewarded with things like that instead of rewarded with nothing lol. Would also love to see the not really broadcast but the overlays for classic rosters like you see on old time moments would give you that more old timey feel.

The more the merrier, theme-wise. Also, I only have Boog and Chris turned on for Sunday games. And I want Sony to add a one-man ''radio'' broadcast, for my MiLB games. It doesn't even have to be a real-life announcer, they should probably hire a voice actor.

I never use regional because it does not show how many Ks a pitcher has after a K. Another extremely minor coding issue that persists.

How many other people have noticed that?

I wish they’d do the same for walks but neither broadcast does.

I love the presentation work they did last year with the regional broadcasts and the added stat overlays.

Much more immersion.

They've added Stat overlays and similar immersion items like that over the years, but I hope they don't stop. The more the better.

I noticed that too. I still really like the regional theme, but it is kind of annoying

It was like that in 22 as well. I think it’s a design. Because in 21 when we had the Show theme and regional theme, it was on the regional theme.
