How to change lines on player lock?

I'm playing franchise with player lock, and I'm having trouble with executing line changes. The timing is one thing, but getting my controlled player to the right spot on the bench (especially when the bench is often off screen) seems impossible and takes too long. Am I missing a way to select a line change and to have the CPU take over your guy to get him to the bench quickly?

(When I would play Career Mode on NHL 23, I could always press a button (square on PS5, I think) to call for a line change. When I did this, I would give up control of my player-locked player as he skated to the bench. Is there a way to do this in Franchise with player lock on?)
