Did something happen to penalties or a fluke?

I started up an offline franchise preseason roster. Jacked up all penalties on sim and first drive playing against ravens 4 straight holding penalties through 2 quarters 12 holding penalties between both teams.

You would have to play a few more games but I've played around half a dozen since the patch and probably average around 8 penalties per game total.The range being 4-12 so I would tend to think hitting 12 isn't a regular occurrence.If I nerfed roughing the passer I would probably average a couple less per game.

I haven’t played enough but saw around 6-7 penalties on default penalty sliders. I usually got 3-4 before the update. And some of these were illegal block, ineligible receiver, pass interference. I would get some rare pass interference but it was usually only holding, false start, and roughing the passer. Before I would get some rare pass interference calls but don’t recall seeing ineligible receiver or illegal block at all. I don’t care for high penalties but this was a welcoming sight.

I'm getting 2 or 3 penalties a game with it set at default. I've played several games.

I feel like more penalties are being called after the latest patch.

I'm still seeing around 1-3 penalties per game with my penalties all turned up with Holding, DPI, and other at 95 or 99. Have played around 20-25 games since the last patch at this point. To be fair, though, I play on Competitive now and not Simulation, so if anything has changed, then that may be a part of why I am not seeing it.

All my penalties are on and range from 40 to 45 and holding 50. Ive been seeing 2 - 4 per game. Before it was 0 - 2. IDK if its patch related, but its nice to see a few more.

Its a preseason game, so idk if it makes a difference but I just had a Illegal forward pass 😲
