Be a GM with DB Editor un-retiring players?

Hello! Started a Be a GM on NHL Legacy, starting in 2015 but with 2023 2024 rosters. However I'm noticing a ton of current top active players are retiring by the time I get to the calendar year of 2023. Anyway to use the DB editor to un-retire them?

The issue is as soon as I get closer to 2023, Quick retires. Hellebuyck retires. Pavelski retires. Shesterkin retires. Toews retires. Just to name a few. Obviously most of these players were there in 2015 and are in fact still playing lol. It's just strange to me that the game thinks Joe Pavelski at the age of 38 is too old to play and puts him out to the pasture so soon. Hellebuyck is one of the top goalies in the NHL, yet the game considers him past his prime.
