[Switch 2k24] Start franchise in offseason no longer available?

I just got 2k24 for Switch. I was able to start a dynasty mode in the 2023 offseason when I first got the game before I could connect to 2k servers. I deleted it because I wanted to use another team. In the meantime, the 2k servers connected and I guess did roster updates, and now I cannot choose the “start franchise in 2023 offseason” mode. Is there a way to get this option back? Like maybe if I delete all game data, start the game (I have a physical disc) without updating, and go from there?

I don’t wanna do this unless I have to as I already have some other save files, but I reeeeallly wanted to fix the Grizzlies terrible offseason by having a chance to re-sign Dillon and not do the Smart trade.

A similar thing happen to me but with rosters last year. I think they removed Chris Webber. You logic is right if you have the physical game. Just stay offline when you start the game again. And if you do go back online don't update the game like you said.

finally someone that has 2k24 on switch, may i just ask, if the gameplay is good? like hows the defense of the computer against user??? do they know how to double team? i really wanna know the difference thank you and sorry i am not replying to your post ;(

No way. Last year wasn't like PS5. How could that change in a year? I didn't get it this year.
