Takedowns

Takedowns that dodge uppercuts should be added. It’s not as easy irl to perfectly time an intercepting uppercut on takedowns as it is in this game. Takedowns are hard enough to land now but the uppercuts just give strikers an unfair advantage in just mixing in uppercuts can completely negate the threat of the takedown.

Also we need real driving takedowns and takedowns against the cage position back with double under as a real control position. I’d even argue giving everyone turning takedowns since that’s the only way to land takedowns with any success now.

Camping low block should result in a neutral clinch position (real over/under or single collar) not auto block. The range on takedowns should be increased across the board. The double leg feint should be added back.

Re: Takedowns

The buffs we got last patch didn’t affect much. They say poorly timed takedowns got harder and better timed takedowns are easier but so far I haven’t noticed much difference. Even ‘poorly timed’ takedowns need a buff, because apparently takedowns after whiffed spin kicks are still considered ‘poorly timed’. No where is it shown what exactly gets us ga etc.
