Question on Coach Firing

Im considering starting a new CFM.

If i start one, using the existing bears coach, and sim up to the bye week, can i then fire the existing coach, create a new coach in his place, and continue the cfm going forward with the new coach, using the new coaches record?

Trying to create a situation where the coach was fired mid season, then someone new comes in and takes over the coaching job.

Pretty easy offline, online it takes creating a second account. Offline, I’d start as another team, use the schedule screen to force wins accordingly for the league. Put your role into “rest” or whatever it’s called. Sim to the week in question and create a new character as coach then retire your original character transferring league ownership to your coach character.

Yeah, online i've done it but I always have a second account online because of kids and such.

You do not need a second account.


If you retire from say browns a usual team you use you can go to any team u want and use that team you can create a coach from there or pick real one and fire him later.


If you're wanting to not use the bears at all but fire a coach then yes you would need another PSN name etc to do that.


But my point is you can retire from any team as much as u like and go to any other team if this is a single online CFM.

To be clear, if I start a Single Person Online CFM as the Browns for example. Can I then sim to week 12 for example, retire from the Browns, and then take over the Bears from that week 12 point?

Yes u can but like any xp other stuff like that probably lose when leaving team.
