Thumbs up EA Sports WRC - Videos I made from day one with the game

Hey all, I was fortunate enough to play EA Sports WRC last night, a new rally game by Codemasters, and created a playlist of videos from my time with it. Game is a lot of fun! All clips are from the PC.

PC Specs:

i5-12600 @ 4.8Ghz, 32Gb Corsair DDR4 RAM, Geforce MSI RTX Ventus 4080 16Gb, SSD Samsung 980 Pro.

I really love how they managed to capture the really cold feel of the mountain on a winter day here

The lack of conversation about this game in here in surprising. WRC is one of the best console rally games ever.

It’s good but man does it need some work.
Series X performance & visuals are poor at best.

I’m getting 50fps on ultra with 5800x cpu and 6800xt. There’s just a little occasional hitch but nothing too bad.

Re: EA Sports WRC - Videos I made from day one with the game

One thing I've heard on some Let's plays, is the pace note "Unseen."

What. Just, what?!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the whole point of pace notes to convey the most information, as efficiently as possible?

Because "a curve or bend in the road that you cannot see around as you are driving" is the dictionary definition of...wait for it...a blind curve.

Serious question: would a real-life rally co-driver actually use "unseen" as a pace note, when "blind" conveys the same information much more efficiently?
