Sliders Reset During Game

I started to notice that during games the sliders will reset. There a way around this?

Check before you enter your game where you select staring line ups etc. it’s happened to me maybe once in 20 times but worth checking.

It seems to happen a lot. I've also noticed that after I check before starting the actual game, if you do something like go to Quick Settings and change shooting from manual to aim assist, the settings will change. Bizarre stuff.

Are you in franchise mode when this happens? I was noticing the same thing. But I think I found a solution.

The issue seems to be with the saved presets. The fix is to set your settings, sliders, etc in the franchise, then save the preset.

THEN, go and make a change, and change it back. It will now say "UNSAVED PRESET"

DO NOT SAVE THE PRESET. leave it unsaved.

Now save your franchise file.

If you enter a game with the settings as "unsaved preset" then in game, if you make a change to the a setting, all other settings will stay the same. If you enter a game with a saved preset, when you adjust settings in game, they all reset.

I agree, unsaved preset seems to always keep my settings.

So I do season mode and if I check my saved sliders before a game in the main menu they are fine but when I check again in the pre game menu they are default despite showing my saved slider set name as the active. Simply toggling off it and back to it corrects it. It's a very strange thing.

I don't mind it because, while it doesn't make sense,, I've found through the years doing this before each game, kept my sliders playing the way I wanted. For years many of us wondered why we seemed to find the perfect slider set only to have them go south quickly.....be it shooting, scoring, goalies, penalties becoming non existent.....I wonder if this has been a thing for years but only this year the slider inputs visually reset as well, if that makes sense.

Either way it takes a second to do before each game and 6 games into my season I'm pleased with gameplay, number of penalties (and variety), and stats. So I don't care if they never fix it. Knowing EA they won't....lol
