pass rush question

anybody else notice when you’re rushing the quarterback and right after snap your d lineman will do a stutter step before he gets engaged with blocker. i have a new controller so i don’t think it’s that.

You can juke as a defender now. So most likely that's the issue. Just wait until you engage when trying pass rush moves.

i haven’t touched a button until i engage with the o lineman, i’m the defensive end and he jukes when i come around corner without me touching anything on the way.

Re: pass rush question

I have this happen too. Happened in 23 as well. I do the training to try to make sure I’m using the left/right sticks correctly, but then i get in a game and my D lineman looks like barry sanders with the steps and jukes. Really hard to figure out.

Re: pass rush question

they need to fix that, it slows the pass rush down.

Re: pass rush question

they need to bring back jump the snap how it was before, not just the speed rush.

Re: pass rush question

This would only happen if the right thumbstick is registering an input. I play as the DL 99% of the time on defense and it never does any sort of stutter or juke unless I hit the right thumbstick before engaging with an OL.
