Do you use a mini pc?

Apparently they get the job done just like an actual computer, I was wondering if anyone here uses one and if you do, which one would you prefer?

Re: Do you use a mini pc?

Do you mean like a Raspberry Pi kind of thing? Or just like an Apple Mac Mini?

I don't but have often wondered about them. It's a segment that I really wish would have taken off a bit more. I still like desktops and buy them for my home use. But apparently there aren't many of us out there...

Re: Do you use a mini pc?

Bought one for the office. HP, solid specs, solid state drive. Solid for light duty gaming. No issues with low end Steam games.

I'd highly recommend it, especially if you need space.

Used a mac mini for a very long time for all my Apple content.. didn't realize my new iPad wasn't compatible with it, or I wouldn't have made that purchase.

If Steam Deck counts, then yeah.

Re: Do you use a mini pc?

Yes, I use them as work pcs for my employees and they are fantastic.

I bought Beelink mini pcs with a Ryzen 7 and 16 gb of ram. You can find a bunch of versions on Amazon, believe I got the SER5

I did not use them for gaming but I’m sure it’s fine for light gaming but if you’re looking for a cheap , low profile pc for work and basic computer stuff, you won’t go wrong
