Dallas or Miami users

how in the heck do you handle the CAP, neither team has $$ to resign players. Plus at the end of the year no $$$ to sign FA.

Restructure contracts. For Dallas, Dak, DLaw, Tyron Smith or Zack Martin frees up a lot of space

He’s right. I have played Madden for 20+ years and didn’t know that you could restructure contracts. Under “Manage Roster,” go to “Team Salaries.” If you scroll through the players, you will see an option at the bottom of the screen to restructure a player’s contract if they are eligible (triangle in PS4/5).

I had to end up restarting with Miami- I forgot to restructure guys and ended up in salary cap hell. I cut pretty much everybody I could and still couldn’t get under the cap.

Contract restructure is one of the best and most immersive features the team has added in years for people who like playing NFL-GM style franchises. Gives you short-term flexibility with long-term repercussions.

It's tough as Dallas, and you have to be very selective about re-signing older vets. I let at least Gilmore and Kearse go after year 1. That meant changes to D, as with Kearse as sub-LB you could play man coverage very effectively.
