Auto Upgrade

So I was wondering if anyone had a definitive answer on if the CPU upgrades based off Team Scheme or if they upgrade based off Highest Archetype?

Unless something has changed recently, the CPU always spends Skill Points on whatever is the player's best archetype OVR, regardless of team scheme settings. It's been like this for the past few Madden games.

CPU player progression gated behind certain week advances has not been a thing in Madden since the Skill Points system was introduced in Madden 19. From that game forward, the CPU will always spend a player's Skill Points to progress during any week advance operation should a player has any.
