How does ProPlay work from a technical standpoint ? Will there be animation update ?

Hello everyone.
Could someone please explain clearly and technically what ProPlay is? I don't want to know what it does; I already know that. I want to understand how it works from a technical perspective. Are there multiple cameras on the field that enable player volume measurement?

And is it true that there will be updates throughout the year? For instance, do the combo breakdowns change during the year? I would appreciate a response with evidence, in other words, with official explanations. Thank you.

They made it seem like they could update animations throughout the year, however that could have been sneaky marketing talk.

In a nutshell I don’t think anyone is sure.

In my country, the press says that 2k generates Proplay animations using AI. But I often follow Mike Wang and Daczar, and it seems to me they've never said that. I think there are bound to be cameras like FIFA's hypermotion. The question is: do we need several cameras to get the player's colume, or is one enough?

And where's the official info on these updates? I've reread the courtside, it's nowhere to be found.

I feel like they may be more likely to add packages for players who don't have them maybe.

Like Lebron runs the way he does, shoots how he does, and dribbles how he does. I don't really see them updating packages in season to add a dribble move that he just did.

They said there are cameras on the court. I don't think they are 2k specific, just the cameras that the NBA uses for tracking things like how many miles the player has run on floor and things like that.

They can add during the season. I remember a specific animation being added for Steph the second half of the season for 23. They’ve being sneaking animations in the game for the last few years even before the whole seasons thing.
