Controlling 32 Teams in an Offline Franchise

i know you can create 32 characters but that takes forever and each time you have to switch between characters just to make one roster decision.
Is there a more effective way to do this ?

Create your character for a team, let the cpu manage the main running of the teams, then monitor rosters and step in to make big narrative decisions based on team state.

Eg is there an xf 30+ veteran on a clear rebuild team, manually trade them to a contender for picks / young players.

As for draft, I leave the draft class alone to generate and produce stories, but in the week before the draft I might move draft position of some key positions, mostly qb, so non qb needy teams don't reach or qb needy teams draft a qb higher.

I am in the early days of building a team state analysis and narrative generation system to help with solo franchise or add more colour / longer goals for coaches.

i am sorry i don't understand that is the complete opposite of what i asked i don't want the cpu to control anything in Madden 20 you could change all the teams depth charts in the whole league now you can only control your own depth chart. Also you cant edit any other franchise decisions just your own. I just wish to control all 32 Teams. I have Madden 08 on PC and you can easily control all 32 teams in 30s of menu options football idiots as new rosters as well but the engine is rubbish compared to madden 23 and 24 hopefully they will fix this

Ah, I thought you were asking was there a better lighter way to effectively manage a league without doing 32 team control.

In answer to your question, no, there isn't an easier way to set it up. Offline only and have to set up 32 coaches individually. Best to make a "setup" save file once done so you can restart easily.

make sure all teams have 53 active players or the CPU will automatically sign players before the preseason starts so i just sign a bunch of very low ovr older players so they stay 3rd or 4th string and are cheap on the cap

Can you have all teams be upgraded automatically or do you have to go through each team to upgrade players ?

On "simple" or full auto (which you need to set for each non main coach before going autopilot), the cpu will manage most things for you (including skill points - they'll assign to the scheme archetype at that position); however, trades, trade blocks and trade offers will all be disabled.
