Players names ALWAYS pop up when using Icon Passing or Icon Switching on defense

No, I am not complaining, and have enjoyed the game so far. Buuuut, I like to have as much on screen info turned off as possible when I play, including player names under the ball handler. However, this year when you bring up the icon switch, the names show up pretty big under the ALL of the players and then fade. Only way so far I have figured out how to get rid of it is to just completely turn off the icon switch indicators, which I do not want to do. If anyone finds a way, let me know, thanks in advance. Hopefully they patch this.

How they miss this is beyond me. I want the names GONE.. there’s option to turn it off but it doesn’t work. 2K needs to fix it ASAP

Yeah its a small detail that is annoying. I was so confused when I saw it. I have gotten used to it somewhat, but still prefer that the names do not show up.

Thanks for this message, I feel less alone. I too feel that they have completely missed the personalization of the hud. Impossible to display smaller names too. Anything but.
