Backups playing in playoffs

Has anyone else ran into this issue? I just got to the playoffs in year 1 of my franchise. The first play of the game my starters are out there. On the second play the starters are all benched and the backups are in. Crazy part is the depth chart is fine. So I’m assuming it’s fatigue related? I already tried turning off progressive fatigue. And the problem is still happening.

If you had progressive fatigue on before, turning it off doesn't magically reset your fatigue levels IIRC

The setting says turning it off resets it to full before each game.

If you exited the game upon seeing backups in, turned progressive fatigue off, and then restarted the game it doesn't reset to full.

Well that doesn’t make much sense to me. But okay. Also the following week it did the same thing. So am I just stuck with this for the remainder of this seasons games? Even if I can make it there. It’s not much fun playing in a superbowl with backups.

Past games with PF on, and then later turning it off, didn't reset it until the next season.

Turn it OFF, leave it off, and throw away the key.

That is absolutely terrible game design. Man EA… come on. I’m just going to restart the franchise next week with opening day rosters

Did you manage your players throughout the season? Less full practice from mid season onwards?
More backup practice or mixed rather than starters?
