IR Cap hit

Usually when you place a player on the IR, his cap hit is removed and you can use that to replace him. That is not the case this year

That is not how it happens in real life. I've always had their cap hit count against in previous Maddens as well. Could you be thinking of counting against the 53 man roster? They shouldn't count against that, but they should count against the cap.
