Reviews?

It looks like there are still no reviews out. Does anyone know when they will be up? Seems really odd given the game is out everywhere

Someone said on YouTube they’re holding reviews to get paid by madden team to release positive reviews

EA (and like 99.999999999% of gaming companies) would never pay for reviews, it'd be pointless. It's much more likely they received the review codes very late so are likely playing for review now.

Heard there was a review embargo until early next week. Madden's trying to keep impressions under wraps again. Says a lot about what they think of their game.


Contrast that with Starfield... a much more massive game with way more hype that is allowing reviews to drop a week before the standard edition releases.

Its odd they can enforce an embargo on a released game. So strange. Especially since the game is relatively polished this year

Gamespot says it best. There’s really no point in reviewing a sports game. Hardly any gamers really care what they say anyways. It’s not a new title or new franchise. Everyone knows what they are getting already and will buy or not based on their past experiences with Madden. People just want to see the review score reflect their opinion on the game and that’s really it.
