Should be noted that Derek Rae and Stewart Robson will be the commentary team for career mode and pro clubs. Mowbray and Smith were brought in specifically for exhibition and FUT matches.

The ref POV camera feels like the opposite of immersive. Just plain jarring and bizarre.

The Rae/Robson commentary needs more depth and improvement overall, but bringng in a new team is probably a guarantee that that won't really happen.

Having the commentary teams appear on-camera is a cool idea tho. But once they get enough user data showing FUT players skipping it literally every time I'm sure that will go away too lol.

With the new celebrations I hope they brought some more realistic ones. I feel like whenever I do a random celebration by just pushing a few buttons I get the most cringe ones possible.

I can definitely see myself using that camera for career more. For online co-op, I'm not so sure. It's a welcomed addition either way.

Yeah, I had the same initial reaction. But with the footage that has been captured by both players and refs throughout this pre-season, maybe it isn't that farfetched that refs will be wearing cameras during competitive games in the near future. I don't know, but in terms of realism that's probably how I will view it.

Nice to see them add these little details, but unless the gameplay and physics glitches improve, it’s not going to improve the game. The AI gets worse and worse each year and they do nothing to fix it.

If that’s true, it’ll disappointing. If they’re going to have two commentary teams, I’d much rather have them mix up which comms pair you get during a career season.

“EA tv” could have one team for domestic and one for international/continental matches. Or one A team for so called big matches and derbies, and B for the rest. They could even alternate between comms teams.

Just something to mix it up.
