We could use a lot more teams from the 70’s and early 80’s. Those Bullets, Blazers, and SuperSonics teams that won a ring, the 1976 Celtics and Suns too.

They need to do something about the 03-04 Pistons, no Tayshaun or Rasheed.

I’d also love the Isaiah Thomas Celtics and the CP3 and Harden Rockets too.

that 97-98 pacers team was the bulls greatest challenge of all the teams they faced in the playoffs including the finals during that 90's run. it's a crime not to include that team. have to make it myself every year.

I'm 100% with you guys. I really wanted to include both the Pacers and Suns but not having Reggie or Charles is the only reason why I didn't include them although both teams had other good players on the team too. It's gotta stink as Pacers and Suns fans not to have your best player in team history in the game.

Great call with the 2008-09 Chicago Bulls. Of all the sports teams I've loved, that year's iteration of the Bulls was probably my favorite Chicago team to root for outside of the Jordan years. What a great squad and that series vs the Celtics was maybe the best playoff series I have ever seen (outside of the one TERRIBLE blowout).

We all want Suns 93 and Pacers 98\00, but without Charles and Reggie there is no point.

I think that a good way to make the modern era classics looks fresh could be make little corrections to the teams we currently have in the game. The original classic teams selection its from the Greatest mode from 2k12, and they made some choice to have teams real-life team match-up, like 95 Knicks vs 95 Magic or 98 Spurs vs 98 Jazz. After a decade i think its time to refresh those.
Some examples of what can be done:

1998-99 champions Spurs replacing the 97-98 team
1993-94 finalist Knicks replacing the 94-95 team
1991-92 finalist Blazers replacing the 90-91 team
1971-72 champions Lakers replacing the 70-71 team
1972-73 champions Knicks replacing the 71-72 team

And so on...those teams are basically already there including court and jersey, its something that can be made with very little effort.
