Please stop taking CPU Roster Control away!

Keeping rosters up to date is a time consuming labour of love, that is done with the hope that CPU Roster Control will be available all season long. In the current version of The Show, CPURC vanishes after the trading deadline. Last year it did not. In another version of the game, it was not, but later patched in.

I beg of you. Please stop messing with it every year and just let it be an available option all season long from now on. The reason it's there in the first place does not cease to exists after a particular date has past. Please stop taking functionality away and let customers play the game in the manner they choose.

Absolutely agree. I’ve submitted a bug report, but it almost appears to be done by design.

One solution is control all the teams. That’s what I do. Control them all but sim them while play my own team.

CPU Roster Control controls all teams. The problem is with that option gone you have to go to the MANAGE screen and then you have to deal with waivers, etc. The ACQUISITIONS screen used to be:

Free Agents
Roster Control
Player Search
Contracts

Now it says
Free Agents
Player Search
Player Search
Contracts

Just submitted another bug report. As I’m just past the trade deadline in my franchise I explained how convoluted it is to move the just traded Genesis Cabrera from the Cards to the Bluejays. I expect many more player moves and this is just messed up and unnecessary to remove the ROSTER CONTROL option from the ACQUISITIONS screen.

I did all the deadline moves so I'm ok. But if I can only control my team...what is work around on a go forward?

Did you select all teams when you started your franchise? Then put CPU ROSTER CONTROL ON?
