? About fictional rosters

First let me say, that I have dabbled with trying to create a fictional roster, therefore I truly appreciate anybody that has created and form of a fictional roster.

One thing I have not been able to figure out… how to create a roster full of players with no history? An example would be Sluggbuggs 22 roster. Every single players stat lines are “zeroed out”
Many other fictional rosters will show players with stats 10 years out, whatever.

I know that some people sim decades, to help create the roster. I’m just wondering what steps somebody like sluggbugg does to crest all players with no history

You can create players from scratch. You can also create a franchise, turn CPU roster control on and export players you can edit in or outside the franchise.

Just use fully editable minor league players that haven't accumulated any career MLB stats as your base, and customize their appearance, name, etc. to your liking. There are also loads of players in the vault with no stats you can download as well. If you don't want career stats you don't even need to go thru the process of starting a franchise, but you may still want to do that to save time by using some of the computer generated minor leaguers and doing less customizing of them.
