Everything about NFTs is bad and everyone involved should feel bad.

Which, to be fair, given how (as the author notes) the press release doesn’t mention “NFT” or “Web3”, it sounds like they do feel at least a little bad lol.

I don't get it. It's a yearly release. So presumably they become worthless after a year which is antithetical to the point of stuff like this. Or so I thought. They will actively lose value after a year unless it carries over year to year.

The answer, of course, is money to EA Sports. Once you buy this garbage, they don't care that's it's worthless.

Not a good sign that this is the first news to come out about this game; but I'm not surprised at all.

I can't believe Moody hasn't commented on this yet. He's gonna have a complete meltdown, like Angry Joe did. Seek that out on youtube if you haven't seen that yet.
