Thoughts on pre-post-halftime shows for 2k24

Am I the only one here who thinks that the pre-post- and halftime shows need total revamps? Don't get me wrong, I love the banter between Shaq, Ernie, and Kenny which seems to change every year the game drops, but other than that not much changes with presentation. Character bodies across the board need improved and badly. A lot the in game just looks dated, especially on next gen.

For 2k24, at least make the pre-post-and halftime WORTH watching. Right now, the halftime show is sooo freaking short and brings nothing stat or info wise to the table, I bet 99% of us don't even bother watching. If I'm playing the game to be immersed in the feeling of a true to life presentation, I WANT to watch the highlights, pre game, post game, etc. But currently, outside of a few funny lines by the broadcast team, the presentation, respectfully, is sorely lacking in my opinion.

2k, please come back to your roots and get away from all this online pay to play / my player city crap. Make 2k24 and beyond push boundaries again, especially on next gen.

I personally do skip the halftime 9 times out of 10. It is better this year with them talking about some other stuff.

If you want me to really care about it show highlights and scores of other games. If it’s near end of season talk about matchups later in the day, etc. I don’t need the whole crew. They do a good job on it but it’s not what would keep me invested in a halftime show

It would really be dope to have a nba showtime with Bob costas and inside the nba on tnt with ernie joĥnson for jordan era in my era mode where they show highlights about games around the association

In my opinion, the best halftime post game weekly wrap up highlight presentation in any sports game to date, was NFL 2k5, with Chris Berman.

They need to incorporate that kind of detail into NBA 2k.

Yeah besides the mvp vote or current standings. Really nothing else.

I remember the 2k16 version gave you more information about the teams playing specifically.

Took the words right out of my mouth. This was back on the PS2. There is no excuse for 2K24 not a pre game, half time and end of game show that blows NFL2K5 out of the water. For example At this point there should be A.I. generated highlights from around the league of other games when we play NBA Today games, or season or franchise mode
