4k 120hz on ps5 ?

I'm only getting 1080 when using 120hz on my ps5...if I go to 4k it only does 60hz

Is it even possible on ps5 to get the show to play in 4k 120hz?

And are you Xbox people getting that?

I'm guessing it's better to play 1080 at 120 over the 4k at 60

Your display would need HDMI 2.1 to get 4k 120 hz

I have 2.3 ...120hz tv, and my av receiver is 120hz as well

Believe you have to have a monitor with FreeSync or G-SYNC. Mine definitely does 4k/120. FWIW I have a Samsung Odyssey G7.

I was able to resolve this ...on an AV receiver you normally have to set your inputs to 8k enhanced. But for some reason on this new onkyo I had to set then to 8k standard and it works! Looks amazing now ty
