Re: 2023 Offseason Thread

Raptors interviewed JJ Redick for their coaching job.

Didn't even realize he's been retired for 2 seasons.

I don't think JJ would be the right fit now.

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread

If the NBA draft lottery ends up like the NHL one, the Spurs are winning it.

The team that once dominated the league, only facing a few seasons of "hardship" just to win the lottery and draft the next superstar who plays the same position as their last face of the franchise.

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread

Obviously, we know we have to shop Randle and Barrett. The question is.. who, when, and why?

My answer is both (hopeful thinking). Obviously Barrett’s contract is huge, but I say we do this as quick as possible while they both have the value that they have.

He got railroaded, they have an extremely thin roster after trading for Durant and relied on an aging Paul to somehow stay healthy yet somehow them losing to the #1 seed is worthy of being fired. I know they'll claim up and down the job is an attractive one but with that roster and next to no space to make any moves I don't think it's nearly as attractive as the media will consistently claim.
