I gave ‘23 another chance. Why can’t I see league standings?

I started a new Franchise as a QB. I’m having an up and down season 11 games into the season.

I just find it funny that I can’t see season standings for the team in which I’m playing.

Are season standings only available for MUT and/or online players.

I guess as an offline kinda guy, I don’t deserve basic stats.

The game is pretty bare bones when it comes to presentation. They definitely took 8 steps back in terms of that.

What mode are you playing? In Franchise, I think it's press square (PS) from your home screen.

Do you mean during a game or at the Franchise menu? It's right there. It even lists a hotkey button to bring them up. Pretty sure it's square on PS5.

Not when you’re playing franchise as a player. It just doesn’t exist.

It’s there if you’re playing as a coach or an owner, but not as a player. It’s ridiculous.

It’s there and others have shared how to see it.

I only play franchise as a player.

Then you must be playing some magic version of this game, because there is absolutely no way to view league standings in player franchise. You can only see it if you’re playing as owner or coach. Pressing square on the PlayStation (or X on the Xbox) bring you to your player screen, not standings.

Looks, in the grand scheme of all that is not great with Madden these days, this is small potatoes. But it’s an ugly potato none the less and something immersion breaking that should have been easily fixed.
