RTTS roster moves that make you shake your head

I am a 3B for Cubs, during the first season Cubs traded Wisdom for C potential SP, which I can see with Morel behind him. Then during the offseason they traded Mervis, Hoerner, Seiaya all for C potential SP that do not even make the top 5 in the rotation. They are all RP or AAA depth. CPU traded 4 legit bats for 4 SP that are basically depth moves. Then they signed 3 FA that are low 70's to fill those hitting positions. Hard to enjoy RTTS when trading lineup for SP that wont even crack the rotation.

I would imagine if you looked at moves throughout the league it would be just as bad for all the teams. The trade logic is horrible. IRL contenders rarely trade with each other during the season and it happens all the time in MLBTS. Rebuilding franchises, like the Cubs, trade away prospects for vets when it should be the other way. In franchise you can control this but in RTTS you're at the mercy of the AI. You could just turn the trade slider to zero. I'm pretty sure that slider will work in RTTS.

I saw the Red Sox trade Tristan Casas for Tim Anderson and Marcelo Mayer for Votto who retired at the end of the year I’ve seen the CPU offer me A potential prospects for low to mid 70s average players in franchise too.

I'm not seeing this kind of move, but Gerritt Cole lost his starting rotation spot in 2024 because his OVR fell to 69. He moved to the 'pen and dominated 1.22 ERA over 90 innings.

Next year, he was in the AAA bullpen. He destroyed AAA. ERA under 0.50 while the major league bullpen was one of the worst.

Next year, he was in AA and crushed them again. 120 innings of a sub 1 ERA. Again, major league 'pen was bad.
