Vibration on the corners when pitching

The controller vibrates when placing the pitching reticule right on the corners of the strike zone. I've also noticed if you try to pitch here it is less accurate. Is this the games way of depicting the difficulty of painting the corners?

Not too sure about the intent, but I find turning off Vibration helps with more walks.

I really wish there was a way to turn off strike zone vibration without turning off all vibration

I have voiced that sentiment for years.

One early thing I noticed, going from PS4 to PS5----the formers vibrations felt more like a heartbeat/pulse, where the PS5 version feels like a marital love aid....

For me it’s a way of throwing a waste pitch. I don’t use any visual aids, none. I look at my pitchers pitches when I start the game, memorize which pitch is what button, then pitch. If I get an 0-2 count, for example, the vibration comes in handy if I really want to waste one way out of the zone, or just a ball that might get him to swing at a bad pitch. I don’t use aids that help me aim, trying to precisely hit corners. I see a lot of guys claiming high K totals, maybe this is why they have them, i.e., trying to be way too precise.

It's basically indicating you're out of the zone with your pitch. It's very useful in terms of throwing breaking balls or fastballs that breaks according to your pitcher.
