Hello everyone,
After taking a few years since my last major project, I've decided to sort of settle down in terms of taking on GIANT projects, just for the sake of my sanity (lol).
But on the other hand, I have missed roster editing and just contributing in general.
So, on that note, I'm happy to announce that I'm taking on a smaller workload this year, that is, a 12-team workload.
Yes, that means somebody is actually making a WNBA roster
I am taking 12 players from 12 correlating NBA teams and throwing them into the WNBA.
"But how are you doing this?" asked nobody.
Well I'll tell you anyway, I'm taking the average height and weight in both the NBA and WNBA, and scaling the player on that scale.
For example, the NBA average for height and weight, based on what I've found through Google, is 6'7" 218 lbs.
The WNBA average is 6'0" 167 lbs.
So, while Jaylen Brown is 6'6" 233 lbs, Jaelyn Brown is 5'11" 182 lbs.
You can probably figure out how I got there.
Anyway, I'm using the top 11 players on the roster through the base 2k rosters, and then deciding on the 12th man based on the importance to the team.
So yes, while Sam Hauser is *technically* the 12th man on the Celtics roster, I came to the conclusion that Peyton Pritchard was simply more important to the team. Don't hate me for it, Sam Hauser superfans.
The first team is done, and I plan to do about a team per day, which makes this a little less than a 2-week project, something totally manageable for me.
So yeah, expect a fully functional franchise roster within 2 weeks.
The file will be updated with every team completed, so you can play as it comes along.
It's called "WNBA/NBA Crossover" under my PSN name "stole_ya_jahcoin"
COMPLETED TEAMS:
CONNECTICUT SUN (BOSTON CELTICS)
LOS ANGELES SPARKS (LOS ANGELES LAKERS)

Note: I was totally debating if I should even make this a post, as I know just how little the fanfare is for a WNBA roster project. I decided to post however, anyway, because I feel like this is something a YouTuber can use in a video or something, idk.
