Question about all NHL Games in general

I've owned seasons 18-21 and lost interest in all of them becasue I couldn't figure out many things. My Biggest question is what they show in the reviews or previews are good graphics, showing player making great plays players look real and act real. However when I play the game turns into a arcade game with a top view of little players that it appears that you control whoever has or is about to get the puck.

Nevermind learning how to play but to play so you are controlling the puck, then having to be ready to recieve the pass or tip in that you are about to do is hard to do by one person........lol I play MLB the Show and you only have to worry about your player in the RTTS mode.. does any NHL game have anything close to MLB the Show games where you handle everything for one player?

Re: Question about all NHL Games in general

I'm fairly certain pretty much any hockey game will let you lock your controller to one player. I haven't checked for that in years though so I might be wrong. Seems like it was always an option. If not, that's just what all sports games are like. You click to select to jump to the nxt player but usually, when passing to a new player you become that new player. Simple as that.

You can player lock to a specific position! If you’re doing a “play now” game, I believe if you click Left stick (maybe right stick) in the team select screen, it will let you lock to a specific position. Or there’s also the Be a Pro mode where you only control your created player.

Re: Question about all NHL Games in general

The option to lock on a position (or even just the coach) is available in franchise as well.

Player lock has always been a thing in franchise mode and Be a Pro is exactly that... I don't understand this post
