Looks decent, but totally not what I envisioned the AEW game would be when first announced. I'm sure nostalgia will hit me and I pick this up when its on sale.

Interesting little clip showing real life and in game comparison, good for players like us.

One thing that stands out to me in comparison to 2K is the quickness of the movements from one move to the next. I feel FF looks really good, probably a little too quick if anything. I do feel 2K looks better this year compared to 22 though still too much delay.
For example in 2K I'm not sure the wrestlers could do a move like the buckshot lariat that Page does with the urgency to go to the outside of the ring and the speed of the move. They knock the opponent down, stand for 2 seconds, move slowly to the outside of the ring stand for 2 seconds then the animation of the move plays knocking the opponent down, stand for 2 seconds, go for pin.

I like what I see. I think proceeding with cautious optimism it can be a very decent game though I like what I'm seeing from 2K as well so I'm hoping both will live up to my expectations.

From the blurb it sounds like it’s gonna be legends heavy the roster. I’m all for that.

We know Owen Hart is in it…. I’ll be interested to see who else they snag.

Also how they deal with classic arenas.

I guessing it’s gonna be a hefty roster as we know the AEW roster is sizeable already and they seem to be putting emphasis on legends?!?

I’m all for that. The gameplay vids though so far have not reflected that. So maybe it’s just blurb lol

Is it just me who thinks that their editing of the video to blend the game clips with reality clips, actually makes the game look awful, especially considering that 2Ks Showcase mode does it so brilliantly?

Not the best marketing choice imo.
