Did this patch ruin something, or am I just encountering some scripting in my career mode. My team has become laughably passive. Even worse than usual.

Does it apply if you are already in a career mode save? or just to new career modes?

The last few patches have killed this game for offline modes, as per usual. They’ve absolutely destroyed any kind of defensive nuance or skill and made it all about attack to appease the FUT-fanboys and the people who don’t actually want a realistic football game.

I’ll be honest. I haven’t played this joke of a game in 3 months. Ever since my settings and sliders wouldn’t save anymore-and even after they said they patched that! It was weird because sometimes they saved but most times not. I found myself having to restore my sliders every 7-8 times out of 10 times I loaded up!

So to anyone that plays CM regularly; do I still need to redo my settings and or sliders every time I boot the game up on my PS5?

No, it works well for me. I haven't experienced that problem in the last 2 months.

Around the same ratio for me unfortunately.
