EA Sports UFC 4 Adds Jamahal Hill & Amanda Lemos to Roster

If anyone at EA reads any of this...you're killing it with this DLC. Thank you.

Now, for the love of God....can you please ensure there will be a serviceable clinch system in the next game. The entry and exit is pretty fluid and smooth in 4 (the striking on the break could be a touch cleaner) but we need both fighters to have the opportunity to advance to plum after a clinch is initiated. The clinch against the cage needs work. We should be able to pummel, get to double unders, reverse position when we have our back to the cage. All of this was in 3 and should have been improved upon. Not scrapped.

With all of these fighters being added in so late in the development cycle, I think UFC 5 roster will be pretty close to what 4’s is now. I don’t expect too many surprises

Sadly , I believe it was made like this on purpose. Clinch is as simple as it gets and wasn't meant to hold someone in it. They wanted to downgrade game mechanics so that new players didn't have hard time in it. I just hope they switch their target group on their next installment.

That's frustrating to hear. Losing such an integral part of the sport sucks all the immersion right out of the game for me.
